Chiropractic
Dr. Orna Manavi is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic and a California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC)-certified Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). With over 25 years of clinical experience, she has performed thousands of evaluations and treatments for work-related musculoskeletal and spinal injuries. Dr. Manavi specializes in evidence-based independent medical evaluations and panel QMEs, with strict adherence to the AMA Guides (5th Edition), MTUS, and ACOEM guidelines.
Throughout her career in multidisciplinary settings, she has collaborated with orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, and pain management specialists to deliver objective medical-legal reporting and comprehensive patient care. A member of the California Chiropractic Association, she is recognized for her expertise in causation analysis, apportionment, and defensible impairment ratings.
In addition to her clinical and evaluative work, Dr. Manavi serves as an instructor at UCLA where she teaches structured, strategy-based coursework utilizing Mahjong as a model for cognitive skill development, with emphasis on memory, attention, and complex pattern recognition.
